TRAINING PROCESS DESCRIPTION

The online training is free and takes place in the form of an open session – the candidates register themselves whenever it is convenient for them and take the training course at their preferred speed.

ONLINE LEARNING

DevOps online training is a set of modules on the basic technologies and tools needed to start a career as a DevOps engineer. The training plan, access to assignments and materials is provided through the platform grow.by.

MENTORING

The training is supported by the mentors with the help of a special chat on the Gitter platform.

WORK AT EPAM

After successful completion of the training, you can take an interview and get a Job Offer to EPAM, or you can continue training at the Internal Cloud and DevOps Lab (3.5 months) with the following specializations: Linux DevOps or Azure DevOps - with a prospect of further employment at EPAM. 

HOW TO START LEARNING

• Register at training.by (DevOps Online training)
• Create an account on GitHub.com
• Register on GROW portal using GitHub.com account, then follow the link (the training template will be automatically added to your account)
• In this video you can see how to pass the training correctly
• Subscribe to the Telegram channel to follow the current announcements of the course

This template consists of courses divided into modules, the completion of which constitutes the training program. In the description of the course and modules you will find links to theoretical materials, mandatory practical tasks and tests, as well as recommendations that should be followed for the successful completion of each course and the training in general.

If you already have experience in system administration (more than 1 year) and have worked with the Bash and PowerShell scripting languages, you can pass English level check conducted by a company recruiter and send a request for passing the final exam – without completing the training.
